die Peveril des Gipfels

So sad to report that the talented Downtown New York artist Agosto Machado died recently. Agosto was an angel beloved by everyone he came in contact with. Late in life he began to be recognized for his gifts with international museums collecting his sacred alters and

assemblages. The New York City commercial gallery Gordon Robichaux represented Agosto. He will be sorely missed as a divine personage and one of the all time great stars of Man!hattan as a performer, activist and consumate artiste.

Sagen Sie mir einfach, was Sie wollen

Both my Club Sucker partner Frank Rodriguez and my therapist said in no uncertain terms that now that I am 65 that this needs to be my Taylor Swift Slut Era. Can you imagine The Doll as a Kleistian Tussy? No matter, as I have taken it in stride getting friendly with a young Uzbekistan man who appears to be ethnically Chinese. He is tall and quite striking looking and has a mighty warble if I do say so myself.

I boldly felated him gagging on the lovely extravaganza of his Jeff Stryker like mushroom head. We exchanged emails, and for once I didn´t immediately start planning my bridal registry at Barney´s. Does Barney´s still exist?

A few weeks later I met a very personable Mexican man who just moved to Berlin to study high barbaree. Why am I suddenly meeting very tall young fellas with above average appendages? Something is in the Deanna Durbin air.

I am feeling very Ali McGraw today. Not Ali in the film Players where she co-starred with Dean Paul Martin the son of actor/singer Dean Martin and performer in the teen rock band Dino, Desi & Billy with Desi Arnaz Jr. and Billy Hinsche.

I quietly morph into Ali in the film Convoy 1979, directed by Sam Peckinpah and co-starring bearded hunk Kris Kristopherson. Yes I see myself as closely cropped haired Ali McGraw re-emerging after a five year hiatus from the screen and a tumultuous divorce from sexy as all hell breaking loose Steve McQueen. I am also Ali the star of Love Story with gorgeous Ryan O´Neal and Ali in Goodbye Columbus featuring Richard Benjamin and humpy dork Michael Meyers. Of course I am Ali in The Getaway 1972 directed by Sam Peckinpah, co-starring Sally Struthers and my paramour Steve McQueen of the perfect penis who dickmatized me into oblivion. Steve McQueen loved slurping on my pert bullet nipples including the aereolas. In fact he sucked them so good that I left my husband producer Robert Evans who was a pre mature ejaculator supreme.

RAMMRATH

The Vagimule Doll had a delightful time at the theatre and was lucky to get a ticket for the sold out performance by João D'Orey a gifted young talent who has caused quite the sensation at Berlin´s Gorki Theater-Studio R with the spirited performance piece T-Boy on Grinder.

Mr. D'Orey's radiant youth and masculine charms serving to perfection. A highlight for me was the Flashdance choreography of Steven Fast and the pathos of being young and trying to find ones place in a harsher by the minute cruel world. João D'Orey is a name we are keeping our eyes on.

Electro San Clemente operates on the level of generosity and abundance. Thats what sezts him apart from someone like icky grifty Raoul Squalsh. Elektro and his husband have been together for over thirty years and own their modest home in Edendale´s Plato del Lago. They live way within their means and you´d never know they were multi millionaires because they are so humble. Elektro is a gifted artiste. Does he nickle and dime the subjects he photographs? No he gives them their photos to do with as they please, not even asking for credit. He has endeared himself to many international artists who swear by his work as their secret weapon. Being as loving and giving as he is, it comes back to him one hundred fold as his work is seen in many publications and international catalogs and exhibitions. Elektro never toots his own horn. He lets the work speak for itself and builds lasting relationships so there is no need for the hard sell. Either people are into his work or they are not. He accepts things as they are.

hoher Chaparral

Ms. Davis was so sad to miss the opening of the great Lygia Lewis at Gropius Bau, but she was still in NYC involved with the public program at MoMa PS1.
Because of some other commitments and what not our little lady Vagimule didn´t get a chance to see the exhibit I´m Not Here Forrrrr... until its last day January 18th. She was under the wrong impression that the run of the exhibition was going to be until March. As such she missed out on the live performance Wayward Chant, but did manage to spend quality time with the video, A Plot, A Scandal. The beauty of gesture and supplication is the only way resistance to modern day forces of repression can be addressed. Perfect dazzling visuals and sumpteous music by Twin Shadow. What more do you need?

Water Will (in Melody) A soundscape in a feral womb forcing one to undergo a highly intense reflection mode, and with the dulcet voices of La Lewis, Dani Brown and Susanne Sachsse there is no safer place in our mad, mad world.

Deader than dead- I will kill you dead, but before it comes to that let´s do the Madison, The Latin Hustle-Dominican Style, and some HBC stepping stone while speaking in truncated tongues. Hullabaloo mixed with a little late 1960s era Kathryn Kuhlman will always send me into overdrive, plus getting to behold Ms. Lygia Lewis, Jaspar Marsalis, Jasmine Orpilla and Austyn Rich-- Divoon!

Die schmale Ecke

Primelpathogen

The young, beautiful Swedish artiste Maria Norrman is the new Maya Deren with her experimental films that not only remind one of the great Deren´s work but also the Canadian early cinema feminist Nell Shipman.

Her latest project

concentrates on the obscure Swedish female impersonator John Lind and his wife and manager Stephanie Lind. This new short subject gem is very elegant in the way it takes its sweet time with exacting focus. Playing Lind is actor and ballet dancer Corrado di Lorenzo who reminded me of George de la Pena who played Nijinsky in the 1980 Herbert Ross directed bio pic. Not only does Ms. Norrman act and direct but she has designed some superlative costumes, and props. When you see the film you´ll have to judge for yourself whether Ms. Norrman´s costuming is more Theoni V. Aldredge or Walter Plunkett.
