DIE FUSSBAL ESKORTE

Met with the lovely and stylish Ryann Donnelly at WAU Café who interviewed me for the new popular music mag Popular Noise. Ms. Donnelly is in a Phd program with my wonderful British academic hornpig pal Gavin Butt in London but came to Berlin to perform at HAU 2 as part of Andrezej T. Wirth: Flucht nach vorn-mit Gertrude Stein Im Gepaeck. Pretty Lady Miss Donnelly wrote a fabtastic article about my paintings and sculpture for Art in America last year. Love going to WAU café and seeing all the staff including their sweet manager Thomas and also getting the chance to chit chat with the HAU technical teams including the great gorgeous Susanne Goerres who is my neighbor in the Rote Insel kiez.

Monday night I was invited to a super duper 35 course catered Sri Lankan dinner party at the Hofjaeger Palais Embassy Row home of the El Salvadoran Embassador to Germany Anita Escher who is lovely and most gracious. Ms. Escher and her brother Frank Escher grew up in the German part of Switzerland to a Swiss father and Salvadoran mother, but they were raised also in the US and hold dual passports. I met Frank Escher and his lover and architectural partner Ravi Gune Wardena when they were my production designers for my West of Rome/Getty/Pacific Standard Time piece in Los Angeles in 2012 My Pussy is Still in Los Angeles(I Just Live in Berlin). Frank and Ravi are in Berlin to visit Frank’s sister and then do lectures in Poland and France. Their illustrious party started with high tea at 4pm, cocktails at 6pm and a George Cukor Dinner at 8 with a dazzling array of international celebutants including glamour puss Angelika Taschen of the Taschen book publishing dynasty,UDK architecture professor Andreas Fuhrimann who is the proud owner of five automobiles, vivacious Kimberli Meyers the director of the MAK Center for the Arts & Architecture at the Schindler House in Los Angeles who use to be a regular at my Club Sucker, the punk rock beer bust and olde English T-dance, and her personable German wife Silke, lovesexxy young Australian choreographer Adam Linder who has worked with Michael Clark and his French beau Shahryar Nashat.

Saturday I tag teamed DJaned along with baby diaper Joel Gibb of the Hidden Cameras at the re-opening of the new Schwuz Club in Neu Koelln. Joel and I handled the spinderella chores during the VIP private shindig from 8-11pm. The new Schwuz is massive and from the looks of things its still a work in progress. I think it was smart to leave the Mehringdamn Corridor of Kreuzberg for fresher digs. Seen partying up a storm at Schwuz: film historian Marc Siegel and his lady love Susanne Sachsse. Earlier in the day I had a girlacious luncheon with La Sachsse at the Shaunbraun in Friedrickshein Park. Also scene and herd: Daniel Hendrickson the Scandinavian Muzlim, with his lover Piero Bellhomo, Bruce La Bruce’s long time film producer Jurgen Brunning with Klaus, Michael Bidner the filmpartner of John Heys, beautiful diva Kaey, DJ Nicolas Tange Lange, handsome French art fotog Thomas Dozol minus his significant other Michael Stipe who is in Athens, Georgia having Thanksgiving with his parents, Manuel Schubert of FilmHighlights Magazine and too many others to mention.

Went to a short film program of the Interfilm Festival at the Passagen Kino in Rixdorf to see Akmed Constantine Berger’s short subject Lunch Hour which is a very charming film with strong performances from wonderful lead actors. There were several other good films including a documentary about that stupid billion dollar castle they are building in the center of Berlin, another documentary about a homeless man and a short subject involving a young patrician fellow trying to break free from the constraints of growing up in a “good German bougie family”.

JERSEY CROSS THE MERSEY

Oh my gawd. The Vagimule doll just got back from a glorious three nights in Liverpool, England for the Queer Up North art, music, film, heritage & culture festival Homotopia. I performed a short format piece called Data Industrial Complex Friday nite at Chew Disco @ the Kazimier at 4-5 Wolstenholme Square which is a circular olde music hall venue that looks a lot like the Vauxhaul Tavern in London where Ducky takes place. The curators of Chew Disco are two young talented children who I immediately fell in love with Khalil West and Emma Obong. Khalil is a muscular and tall ebony Adonis who reminds me of my great friend the African American artist Mrs. Michael Glass of Amok Books. Khalil even wears the same black, thick framed Wally Cox glasses. Khalil is American from New Jersey who has lived in the UK for eight years and is based in nearby Manchester which is 40 minutes from Liverpool. His art partner is the major Ms. Gorgeous and lovesexxxy Miss Emma who is a British lass with a black Nigerian father and white English mother. Khalil and Miss Emma are so lively and personable and kept me laughing and in high spirits as I was a little down in the depths of the 90th floor leaving Berlin where my electric heater in my apartment exploded with torrents of water going everywhere and the smell of burning electrodes in the air. Thank goodness for my wonderful neighbors Christine and Sabine and also Daniel Hendrickson the Scandinavian Muslim and Marc Siegel & Susanne Sachsse who called the fire department for me all the way from Frankfurt where Marc was hosting the famed journalist Amy Taubin at the Goethr Univerität. My flat Wednesday nite was filled with hunky German firemen, and police officers who were actually quite cheery and sweet. The night before a trip I am always frantic but this time I was downright hysterical. Khalil and Emma were so soothing picking me up at the airport and rushing me to my hotel suite and later after i rested treating me to a scrumptious meal and drinks at Café Tabac where I chowed down famously and even woofed three Vodka Gimlets- straight up that were mixed to perfection. Its usually very difficult to get proper olde fashion American cocktails in Europa. My flight on Easy Jet was packed with so many fugly people and to make matters worse I was sitting in the middle seat. Thank god its only a two hour trip but it seemed like seven hours max. The day of my performance Andrea Novarin aka: The Love Camel came up from Bristol to assist me and I really needed him as I was well rested but still a bit of a messtikal.
My performance went over pretty well I wore my stiff long black Rick Owens cloak gown with an olde CHEAP klub Leigh Bowery inspired necklace that Susanne Sachsse gave me last week when she invited me over to luncheon at her famous circular dining room table. I love Liverpool. The crowd was very mixed and not jaded like London audiences. Liverpool kids are all good time Sally´s out for a laugh. I ran into stately Lady Jo aka: Ms. Moist and her wonderbar significant other Harry Pie at my performance. Lady Jo is a beguiling English performer who I first met over 20 years ago at the niteclub Jackie 60 in New York Cities meatpacking district through Hapi Phace of the Pyramid. It was also the evening I had a brief flirtation and shared a kiss with hunky John-John Kennedy Jr. Chew Disco was SRO packed and the round of notables included: John Waters who was performing his My Fithy World lecture, legendina David Hoyle aka: Divine David, Julian Cope of the TearDrop Explodes, humpy British Calvin Klein model Oliver Cheshire, Israeli androgynous mannequin Stav Strashko, Alan Sparkhawk and Mimi Parker who have not aged well and super cute Steve Garrington of one of my favorite slowcore bands Low, cub darling Gray the beau of Khalil, their juicy fun loving pal Dav-id, and Gary Everett the Artistic Director of Homotopia and The Unity Theatre Liverpool. Also performing at Chew Disco was the fantastic young all female rock band Ill who are from Manchester and have only been performing for one year but are quite sensational reminding me of feminist lesbian rockers Cypher in the Snow from San Francisco in the 1990s but minus the trumpet. After my performance I sat down for an impromptu radio interview with the lovely Fiona Ledgard the drummer of Ill and Helen Shanahan. Ill have a single on Valentine Records and a self produced EP that you can purchase through their website at: www.We Are Ill.com. They do a cover of the tired Kylie Minogie pop song “Cant Get You Out of My Head” Of their originals ditties I liked the song “Kremlin” The other band on the bill was the delicious Shopping from North and East End of London. The cute members of the group include: Andrew Milk, Billie Easter and Rachel Aggs. I really loved their Gang of Fourish sound as filtered through Siouxie Sioux and you can find out more about them and their products at www.Facebook.com/WeAreShopping.com.
The entire evening was a sheer delight and I actually stayed till the end which is something that I rarely do as I feel I am too old to hang out at clubs. Special shout outs to the helpful and friendly staff of The Kazimier and sound guy Rob and crew and Thomas plus yummy DJane Paula Pixie who played L7´s "Shitlist" and Shannon´s "Let the Music Play" for me and bearded baby daddy DJ David Jones Lockerroom, Irish juicyboy fotog Pete,  GoGo treats Louise, Joe, Paul & Amy with the unicorn heads and pleather chaps. Sunday I was able to recouperate with Love Camel for a breakfast in town and the weather was sunny with just a wee bit of a chillfactor and then for luncheon Miss Emma, Khalil and Gray took us to the bodacious Shipping Forecast, an alehouse and eatery where I chowed down on the most scrumptious fried chicken. Love Camel took the train back to Bristol and at my hotel Khalil and Emma surprised me by arranging three handsome young ginger, big footed college jocks and two blondine Babylonian gorgons to come to my room and pull a gang bang train on me. The first time curators made all my sick sex dreams come true. Merci!

DENTON WELCHIAN MAIDEN GOYAGE

Received so many emugs concerning the health of Mrs. Michael Glass in Los Angeles. This is the latest info from Jeffreyland Hilbert: Mike was moved to Barlow Respiratory Hospital about 2 weeks ago. He had a tracheotomy and feeding tube installed to help him breath and get nutrition more easily. A group of us met with his doctors last week and Mike's condition varies from day to day. Long-term prognosis is bad. He will probably be a quadriplegic with little movement in head/eyes. Barlow specializes in rehabbing respiratory-challenged patients, getting them to the point where they can breath without aid of artificial means. According to Mike's doctor, Mike is currently at 6 on a scale of 1 - 19. If/when he can reach 19 (breathing on his own) then he will be moved to other facility to live out his days. We are hoping he's eventually able to communicate his wishes - whether he wants to die or continue living.

BELLE; CROOK & STANDELLE

Rising Stars, Falling Stars- We Must Have Music 7th year anniversary was a gorgeous hoot as we again screened a Louise Brooks silent classique---Pandora´s Box. This new restored print is sheer beauty and the accompaniment of Eunice Martin made it like seeing the film for the first time. Eunice is such a musical genius and hot spicine Berlin treasure. Film Historian Marc Siegel filled in for Empress Stefanie Schulte Strathaus who being one of the busiest curators in the universe had to attend to special duties abroad. The incrowd included artist Yorgos the Greek Byzantine Ottoman,my partner in grime Daniel Hendrickson the Scandinavian Muzlim, lovesexy Nanna Heidenreich, Uli Ziemons the handsomest man in all Europa who helped me film a shoutout to the people of Liverpool, England where I will be performing Nov 8th at Chew Disco Volume 12 part of the Queer Up North Art Festival Homotopia, Australian journalista Stuart Braun, the effervescent Manuela aka: DJane Bianca Kruk, Israeli junior artiste Noam, Butt Magazine Calendar hottie Little Telemachos Alex of Greek Passiveland who styled the Doll and did her hair and make-up, Johannes the new Arsenal projectionist, Beatrice Cordua aka Trixie Schönherr who has a new performance coming up at Dock 11, Ian MacKaye(Fugazi/Minor Threat) and lady love Amy Farina of the post-punk bluegrass band The Evens, Italian cineaste The Love Camel aka: Andrea Novarin, hunky thrombone and artist Haroon Mirza, aristocratic art patron Harry dÁvigdor-Goldsmid, petite Gallic filmmaker Marie Losier with visiting New York friends Olek a cute and personable young Russian artist and his lovely post-Louise Brooksian galpal who bought a copy of the RSFS chap book reader that contains most of my nutters introductory texts with photos, drawings and insane scribble. The book costs five euros and can be ordered from the Arsenal or bought at the box office. For further info on that go to www.arsenal-berlin.de. The next evening I gave an extemperaneous artist talk called Beware the Holy Retarded Whore as part of the Erasmus Intensive Program through UDK at the Ulfer Studios in Wedding the same place we rehearsed at for Communist Bigamist back in 2011. The facilitators were my good British pals dashing scholar Martin Hargreave and serene Sophia of the Berlin based artist kollective plan b. I was expecting no more then 20 people and was surprised that there was an attractive horde of 150 plus  young International students from countries like Finland,Iceland, Brazil, Greece, New Zealand, Poland, India and China. My talk was very salon style creating a little living room art directed set with me sitting on a loveseat and the students all sprawled about on floor mats. I encouraged all the lesbians and baby dykes to take off their sports bras and the men to do helicopters with their penises. I was so scattered and crazy I don´t even remember what I talked about and I can´t believe people listened to my nonsence for over 2 hours.
