VLADIMIR HOROWITZ
yes he was one of the greatest living pianists. That was a tidbit from the great Elsa Maxwell. I received this tidlywink from east coast journalista Jay Blotcher:

Early in Phyllis Diller's career as the first female stand-up comic, she did her comedy in a burlesque house. The question is, what famous writer was a burlesque dancer at the same club during the same time? The Purple Onion was not technically a burlesque house, but a night club with go-go dancers. One of those go-go dancers was none other than MAYA ANGELOU

Was taken to brunch yesterday by Anderson Cooper, the son of Gloria Vanderbuilt. He gave me a pinstripe suit that belonged to his father. Its too big for him. I love it, because its very old fashioned and comes with these amazing suspenders that have leather in them. He also gave me some wing tipped black shoes that are perfection and a silver walking stick. All this comes just in time for my performance with the Velvet Hammer Heritage Burlesque group. I'm going to do a male hertigage striptease as my manly alter ego Buster Beaute'.
